Blogging About My Daughter’s Oral Immunotherapy Journey

Oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment offers a chance to change my daughter’s life — to reduce her risk of a severe allergic reaction, to give her freedom and to ease the constant anxiety we carry every day. It’s also terrifying because the process itself involves intentionally exposing her to the very foods that could harm her.

This journey isn’t just medical; it’s emotional. It’s about bravery, resilience, setbacks, small victories, and the incredible strength of a child who faces her fears.
